Welcome to our rural communities page. Here you will find some short introductory videos for a few of the  communities that we serve in rural Ottawa. We spend a lot of time in these towns and we would be happy to show you around.

  • Most of these towns are within easy commuting distance of downtown Ottawa.
  • In many cases it is a faster commute into Ottawa than from many suburban areas within the city itself.
  • These communities  and many other towns on the edge of Ottawa are vibrant communities with modern subdivisions that offer you a great country lifestyle with the added bonus of allowing you to own much more home than you could afford in the city.
  • Just think, for the cost of a townhome or condo in Ottawa you could own your own single family home on a large lot in one of these towns and still work in the city!
  • Take a drive, come on out to the country, meet the people, enjoy the activities and friendly atmosphere.
  • Check out our country Facebook page: Ottawa Country Homes and LifestylesHEREfor some of the local events as well as useful tips.
  • If there is a town that you would like to see added to the list below, let us know and we will do our best to add it for you.  Just send us an email HERE  or call or text us at 613-897-6839.

The area is expanding and it has excellent shopping and recreational facilities. Today it is one of the fastest growing communities in Eastern Ontario. There is a great mix of homes, with something for everyone. This is a very affordable area. Whether you are looking for a condo apartment or an estate sized property, you can find it here. Our real estate business takes us to all parts of North Dundas. We love the area and the friendly people. Check out Winchester and Chesterville, but don’t forget the smaller towns in both Winchester Township and Mountain Township. Winchester along with nearby Chesterville, offers homes at very reasonable price making this area an excellent one for first time buyers or for seniors downsizing. For the price of a townhome in the city, you can get a modern single-family home. Homes in North Dundas vary from stately Victorian homes to old farmhouses to new subdivisions. Both Winchester and Chesterville have grocery stores and the Mountain area also has the Kemptville shopping area nearby. Winchester Hospital is a great facility and one that we have used on several occasions. These are active communities, with lots of sports and several festivals and offer an excellent country lifestyle. Check out Winchester, Chesterville and the rest of North Dundas, and give us a call or text 613-897-6839. We would love to help you to find the home of your dreams.
